Lindgren Family - Margaret Velma Lindgren - page 7

   I received Margie's death record this last week from San Bernardino County, California. I had looked through death records for this image on FamilySearch.org.  In FamilySearch.org all I saw was Margie's name in the Death Register for Los Angeles County, California. The entry gave a page which wasn't there in the file.
   I also noted that her husband's name, Ralph Riddle, just under her entry with the same page noted which doesn't make sense. Ralph killed himself 2+ weeks after Margie killed herself, in San Francisco.
   The end of the story is I contacted and sent money to the County of San Bernardino. Shortly after, I received this document:




   1. This Certificate of Vital Records states that the place of her death was in the county of San Bernardino, in the city of Ontario, at the Ontario Hotel, District Number 3603.

   2. Her full name was Margaret Lindgren Riddle and her residence was 908 S. Plymouth, Los Angeles, Calif.
   3. She was Female.

   5. Married. 
   5a. Her spouse was Ralph Riddle.
   6. Margie's date of Birth was July 27, 1913. 
   7. She was 22 years, 6 months, and 13 days old.

  11. She had been employed for 1.5 years.
  12. Margie's birth place was Los Angeles, California
  13. Her father's name was Carl Lindgren. 
  14. He was born in Sweden.
  15. Her mother's maiden name was Christina Johnson.
  16. She was born in Sweden.
  17a. Margie had been at the Ontario Hotel for 15 minutes. She lived in California for her entire life.
  18. The informant was Harry Lindgren, [her brother]. His address was 908 S. Plymouth, Los Angeles.
  19. Margie's body was removed [from Ontario] to Los Angeles, Calif. on 11 February 1936.   
  20. The embalmer was John S. Nielsen whose license was number 1853.The Funeral Director was J.B. Draper & Co., in Ontario, California.
  21.The certificate was filed on 11 February 1936, by C.C.Peabody.
  22. The Date of Margie's Death was Feb. 9 1936.
   The Coroner states the he certifies, that he took charge of the remains described at the top of this certificate, held an Inquiry, thereon, and from such actions find the said deceased came to her death on the date stated above. 
  23. Margie's death occurred on the above stated date at the hour of 4:45A.M.
  24.The Coroner states the he certifies, he took charge of the remains described at the top of this certificate, held an Inquiry, thereon, and from such actions find the said deceased came to her death on the date stated above. The cause of death and related causes of importance in order of onset, were as follows: Ruptured heart from bullet wound. Other contributory causes of importance: Shot herself through t chest. Was there an autopsy: Yes.
