ABDUCTED MAN'S CAR RECOVERED

Theater Manager Leve's Auto, Used in Robbery, Found by Police.

Police late yesterday recovered the car of Marshall S. Leve, manager of the Ritz Theater, 5213 Wilshire Boulevard, in which he was abducted Saturday night from his home by two bandits, driven to the theater and there compelled to open the safe, from which the robbers tood $1800. A similar attempt several weeks ago netted the bandits nothing.

The bandits entered Leve's home at 902 Shenandoah street Sunday night by prying open a window, bound and gagged his wife and lay in wait for his return. When he was covered with pistols and compelled to accompany the pair to the theater.
After looting the safe the robbers took Leve back to his home, bound him with strips of adhesive tape and drove away in his machine.
The car was recovered at Ocean View and Westlake avenues. It is being checked for fingerprints by police experts.
