Kask Family - Elin Arvidsdotter and Jonas Peter Kask - 1850 - 1856 census

This census was found on 20 October 2022. I believe I had made a paper copy previous to that date.

By 1850 Gustav Kask has died. What this census shows is that his widow, Elin Arvidsdotter, as well as his son, Jonas Peter Gustafsson. The census is/was found in Lenhovda Kyrkoarkiv [Lenhovda church records], for the years 1850-1856. The volume is AI/13, Bild 49, Sida 38, on ArkivDigital.com

It states that Elin was born in 1787, January 10, in Malmbach. She has passed her catechism for the year.

Her son, Jonas Peter Gustafsson, was born 1825, December 15, in Lenhovda. He was also passed his catechism.

Elin and Jonas are living in the "backstuga" - "little house in the back". I am guessing, that Elin might be receiving a pension, but I don't know for sure.

Davison Family - Clifford Cunningham Davison - Auto Accident

I found this on 11 May 2022 at Newspapers.com. The article came from the Modesto Bee (Modesto, California), published 3 May 1936, Sunday. This article reads as:

MERCED, May 2- An automobile and a semi-trailer truck were wrecked ten miles south of Merced yesterday when a car driven by Bozo Stankovich, 53, San Francisco, blew out a tire while passing the truck driven by Clifford C. Davison, 23, of Bakersfield. The vehicles collided and crashed in a ditch. Neither driver was injured.

Kask Familly - Gustaf Johansson Kask - Military Records

These records were found - approximately - during 2017 to 2018 ArchiveDigital.com.
Krigskoliegium Krigsmanshuskontoret, D:18b (183
-1851) Image 1570/page 303. [I tried to find a translation for this sheet but there was none after I entered the title of this page.]

Our Gustaf Kask is the 10th person listed.

My current thinking is that Gustaf Kask enlisted in 1840, Aug[ust] 19. When I looked on the original page there were no column headers.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
This is a sheet showing the General Muster Roll for the Kalmar Regiment. Our Gustaf Johansson Kask Regiment number is 749. I believe the 61 is his number within the Regiment.
Rotarnas Namn is the name from the area in Sweden that he  is from.
The next column is his name - Gustaf Johansson Kask. This includes his birth name and his soldier name that he will beknown as.
Alder is birth year. Gustaf's birth date - I believe - is 1859, June 5. Tjente ar, years served is 34. I am not totally convinced that this is correct, but will double check the rest of his documentation elsewhere in Arkiv Digital.
Gustaf is 5 [foot] 11 1/2 in height. He is married. I am not sure of the rest of the documentation.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
This is a sheet showing the General Muster Roll for the Kalmar Regiment. Our Gustaf Johansson Kask Regiment number is 424.
Our Gustaf Johansson Kask Regiment number is 749. 61 remains his number within the regiment.

He is 6 [feet] and 1/4 inches. He is married. I believe that the text on the right of the page that states 1805 or 1806, might be when he entered the army. The document continues to talk about 1813 or 1814. I am not sure at present as to what the writer is talking about.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
This is a sheet showing the General Muster Roll for the Kalmar Regiment. Our Gustaf Johansson Kask Regiment number is 425. Our Gustaf Johansson Kask Regiment number remains 749. 61 remains his number in the regiment.
I believe that all of the information represents his transfer with/to General Monstringen as of the 22nd of June 1840. the person listed below him, Johan Jonsson Strid could have been his replacement.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

This is the right side of the page. I believe it is a copy of the previous page and the 3rd page above.

Lindgren Family - Anne Christine Lindgren Davison - Deep into Ancestry Poem

Inspired by those at the Family History Center, Casper Wyoming. Written by Anne Christine Lindgren Davison.

I met a group of people you would like to know
They keep alive the mysteries of those gone long ago.
The blood lines tell the tales every single time
Those things that were unknown be it lawful or a crime!
Like bloodhounds they sniff out their prey
Be it blue bloods or hard working folk, they never get away!

Inspired by my presence in the LDS Stake Family History Center with the following present:
